Getting Revenge and Forgiveness (May 24, 2012)

Michael McCullough describes science that helps us comprehend how revenge came to have a purpose in human life. At the same time, he stresses, science is also revealing that human beings are more instinctively equipped for forgiveness than we've perhaps given ourselves credit for. Knowing this suggests ways to calm the revenge instinct in ourselves and others and embolden the forgiveness intuition.

Course Offerings at the SoL Center

Courses, special events and recurring classes at the Source of Light (SoL) Center feature sacred text, interfaith exploration, comparative religions or specific religion, contemporary issues, the creative spirit, special lectures, faith and one of the following: art, science, history, politics, film and earth ecology. SoL offerings also feature dimensions of family life, holistic health, social justice and religious or spiritual practice and ritual. We encourage the full exchange and sharing of ideas and encourage your suggestions for future events, courses and activities.
